A note from Tracie about Honoring your Body

Life is full of incredible experiences and adventures, many of which would not be possible without your able body. Taking care of, respecting, and honoring your body creates and enables the opportunity to participate in the multitude of activities available to you.

Dress for the body you have today -Wear clothes that fit you well and flatter your figure. You deserve to look and feel your best right now.

Turn your negative thoughts into positive thoughts - If you are feeling down about your body, focus on how strong your body is and how much it has allowed you to do. Compliment yourself in ways that have nothing to do with your appearance - Are you a good friend? A great listener? A successful professional? A positive person? Make a list of 10 things you like about yourself that have nothing to do with your looks. Then start and end your days reading that list and remember your many amazing attributes.

Exercise because it's good for you - Focus on the fact that exercise makes me feel good, strong, fit, and healthy. Exercise in ways that are fun and make you happy. Your body deserves that respect.

Eat healthy because your body deserves it - Honor your body by eating as much nutritious and nourishing food as possible so that it can perform at its best and be healthy.
